Russian airstrikes destroy Doctors Without Borders-backed hospital in Syria, activists say

Russian warplanes are being blamed for carrying out what is being called a "deliberate attack" on two makeshift hospitals and a school in northern Syria Monday that killed nearly 50 people, according to the United Nations. "The destruction of the hospital leavesthe local population of around 40,000 people without access to medical services in an active zone of conflict."
