The city of Hazor lay almost nine miles north of the Sea of Galilee. During the time of Joshua, it was a Canaanite stronghold in northern Palestine. Professor Yadin’s discoveries actually revealed that there were two destructions of Hazor – one in the 13th century B.C., and another in the 15th century B.C. This is precisely the picture presented in the Old Testament.

They have gained a following amongst the young academic crowd, and they have been quite influential in public education. Answer: In order to understand absolute or universal truth, we must begin by defining truth. Truth, according to the dictionary, is “conformity to fact or actuality; a statement proven to be or accepted as true.” Some people would say that there is no true reality, only perceptions and opinions.
