Dog owners in Iran will be sentenced to 74 lashes if they are caught keeping the pets at home or walking them in public. The new punishment is contained in a new draft bill signed by 32 members of the Iranian parliament, according to Iran’s most reformist newspaper Shargh.

While the Egyptian government has been waging war on the Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamic radical groups, the U.S. Administration and some Europeans are continuing to hamper efforts to combat terrorism. Many Egyptians and moderate Arabs and Muslims were shocked to hear that the U.S. State Department recently hosted a Muslim Brotherhood delegation. They were equally shocked when an EU court decided to remove Hamas from the bloc’s list of terror groups.

The people are not praising him — Pastor Olaf Latzel is being accused of disparaging other religions, and the prosecuting attorney of Bremen is considering filing charges against him. Bremen senior theologian whitefish Brahms described the sermon Latzels in part as “intellectual arson” which is liable to cause violence against foreigners, other faiths or asylum seekers.

The request, made of Linepharma International, means the federal regulator is unlikely to issue a ruling until later this year, the Globe and Mail reported, and unlikely to “hit the market” until 2016.
