Evolutionary biologists argue that since human and chimp DNA are nearly identical, both species must have evolved from a common ancestor. However, creation scientists have pointed out that their DNA is, in fact, very dissimilar. The vast majority of each species’ DNA sequence is not genes, but instead regulated gene expression. A new report unmistakably confirmed that the regulatory DNA of humans is totally different from that of chimps, revealing no hint of common ancestry.

1. The Fossil Record…Evolutionists have constructed the Geologic Column in order to illustrate the supposed progression of “primitive” life forms to “more complex” systems we observe today. The deficiencies are real, they will never be filled.”2 This supposed column is actually saturated with “polystrate fossils” (fossils extending from one geologic layer to another) that tie all the layers to one time-frame. “[T]o the unprejudiced, the fossil record of plants is in favor of special creation.” 3

A tremendous pyramid of evidence for design and recent creation is available for detailed study.  Scientific evidence for creation abounds in areas of objective observation. Scholars in various scientific disciplines have written about the incredible complexity in living systems and the structure of the universe. The “big bang” is a story about how the universe came into existence. Billions of years ago the universe began in a tiny, infinitely hot and dense point called a singularity. This singularity supposedly contained not only all the mass and energy that would become everything we see today, but also “space” itself.

Before any serious dialogue of deity can be entertained, the subjects of spontaneous generation and evolution must first be addressed. This is one of the more inflammatory topics of discussion, especially coming from a creation point of view.  In order to gain as much credibility as possible and so you can understand why I feel the way I do, I will use words spoken by evolutionists.

When the theory of evolution was first proposed by Charles Darwin (his Origin of Species was published in 1859), scientists knew very little about the makeup of the living cell. They assumed it to be a relatively simple blob of protoplasm. Therefore, it did not take much imagination to hypothesize that it might have sprung into existence by chance through random collisions of molecules. However, scientific discoveries of the past few decades have built an incredibly strong case against the hypothesis that life is the result of random, unplanned processes.
